Thomas Anders, the original voice of Modern Talking, performs in Xewkija on Saturday 5 December at 9pm. Expect “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”, “Cheri, Cheri Lady” and “Brother Louie”. This is an Anders concert, not an original duo reunion. The Xewkija football pitch will become a covered concert venue for the evening.
DCapitals Big Band, Gianluca Bezzina and Sarah Bonnici also appear. Tickets start at €55. See the concert ticket page.
Combine the concert with a Visite guidée Discovering Gozo to see Victoria’s Citadel, Ta’ Pinu and Dwejra Bay. From mainland Malta, confirm your return ferry or arrange an overnight stay. Allow enough time to reach the venue from the ferry terminal.
Mariah Carey in Malta on 8 December 2026
Mariah Carey performs her Christmas Time show at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali on 8 December. Expect festive favourites, including “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.
The seated concert is sold out, but fans can join the official waiting list. Doors open at 7pm, with last entry at 8.30pm. The start time remains unconfirmed. Guests aged under 18 need an accompanying adult, and the minimum entry age is six.
Before the concert, take a Valletta guided tour. Visit St John’s Co-Cathedral and admire Grand Harbour views. As 8 December is a public holiday, confirm tour schedules and transport.
Joseph Calleja Christmas Concert on 18 December 2026
Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja returns to the MFCC on 18 December with Sarah Brightman and Claudio Baglioni. Expect opera, Italian melodies and festive favourites.
The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s Choir join them. Doors open at 7pm; music starts at 8.30pm. Tickets start at €60, plus fees, through Eventworks. Late entry is not allowed. Since the event has allocated seats, aim to reach the venue well before the performance.
